What is MAC?
Mission Statement: Providing quality creative events for students that are meaningful and engaging!
MAC, is a student-run organization which is responsible for organizing and hosting both entertaining and educational programs for all Morningside students with no charges.
MAC is funded by the students and aims to find a wide range of events to bring back to the students. Programs hosted by MAC include comedians, musicians, MAC Movie Madness at the Promenade, alcohol and sexual assault education, diversity speakers and a wide range of active events. MAC loves to bring in entertainers, activities and educational opportunities to make students experience at Morningside University even more fulfilling.

Javonte Madsen
President
Javonte is a Junior from Sioux Fall SD. She is majoring in Secondary Education in english with a Psychology minor. Javonte's favorite memory from MAC is being in the dunk tank at the campus carnival for this years welcome back week. Her favorite Morningside memory is doing costumes for little red riding hood. Outside of MAC Javonte is also an HR for the apartments.

Lydia Thams
Vice President
​Lydia is a Junior from Albert City, IA and is majoring in Music Ed. Lydia's favorite memory from MAC is rollerskating at rollerama for week of love, her favorite Morningside memory is traveling to South Africa with the choir for May term. Outside of MAC Lydia is involved with MAve Jazz, Vinestreet Jazz Ensemble, Symphonic Choir, Morningside Worship Team, and CNAFME

Wyatt Manwell
Public Relations
Wyatt Manwell is from La Center WA. He is majoring in Secondary History Education. Wyatt's favorite memory from MAC is going to NACA and apart of the decision process for events on campus this year. His favorite Morningside Memory is helping with freshman move in and seeing all the new faces. Outside of MAC Wyatt is also involved with Aspiring Educator, TIES, and MCU.

Emanuel Aguilar Ceja
Secretary
​Emanuel is a Sophomore from Longmont CO. He is majoring in General Psychology and Theater. Emanuel's favorite memory from MAC is going to NACA because it was a good bonding experience with fellow executives and members of MAC. His favorite memory at Morningside is acting in his first college theater show. Outside of MAC Emanuel is also involved with theater.

Devaney Speidel
Treasurer
Devaney is from Sioux City IA. She is Double majoring in Elementary Education and Special Education. Devaney's favorite memory from MAC is last year when someone put a hole in the wall at Dropzone in town. Her favorite Morningside memory is beating Northwestern in football her freshman year. Outside of MAC Devaney is also involved with Aspiring Educators

Advisor
Raelee is a new face to Morningside this year who graduated from Sioux Falls with a Major in Communication studies and Theater as well as Minors in Media studies, History/Political Science. She is from South Sioux city, NE. Raelee is looking forward to this years events and seeing the students enjoy them. Her favorite memory since being with Morningside is helping with the correctional flood relief help. Outside of MAC she is involved with the local community theater in Siouxland and is also area coordinator for Roadman Residence hall.
